Internal Investigations. Led investigations into alleged executive misconduct in the municipal and nonprofit sectors, providing analysis of uncovered facts to relevant ethics codes and laws.
Civil Litigation and Advocacy. Advocated for two minors against an organization that withheld an earned competition qualification, securing their spot on the team and receiving their goals in a settlement offer.
Child Protection. Develop child protection policies for churches and assist them in building a culture of safety through education and policy implementation
-
After graduating from law school, Rachel started her career in the non-profit sector. Serving multiple domestic and international ministries, Rachel sought justice against sex traffickers, child sexual abuse material, and both sexual misconduct and abuse of power in local church settings. She also advised senior church leadership on governance, policy, and crisis communications. Through this work, Rachel gained significant experience in corporate and internal investigations, as well as the prosecutorial process. Additionally, she led communications efforts for various organizations: identifying compelling stories and developing multi-media content, briefing executives for presentations and media interviews, and engaging stakeholders. At PNT, Rachel applies her experience as internal corporate counsel and a communications professional to assist PNT’s corporate clients. Rachel’s background in prosecutions and investigations also benefits PNT’s white collar criminal defense and litigation practice.
